Dude Ain’t Black? is a feature on Afrosport dedicated to the rare athlete you thought was black but turned out to be as black as Will Perdue. The inaugural edition features a shortstop for the San Diego Padres that had me fooled more than any other player before.

Fixing the NBA

America’s third favorite professional sports league is the NBA. That I am completely confident of. The NFL is the top dogfighting, and the MLB, steroid scandals and all, is number two. The difference between 1 and 2 is far greater than the difference between 2 and 3, though, and I see no reason that the NBA couldn’t be a few shorts steps from leapfrogging already dethroned pastime. Cut the umbilical cord, save the afterbirth for afterbirth stew or whatever you do with it, and light up a novelty cigar, because today will forever be known as “The Day Afrosport Was Born”. 

This blog is going to be so different from every other blog. I mean, I’m gonna use a few of the old standbys, but you’re going to see a lot of new shit here, like a sarcastic attitude, embedded youtube videos, and recommendations of shitty bands that you don’t care about.

Lucas must have been a really hard sell to producers. A teen romantic comedy in the 1980’s. Talk about risky. Lucas came out in ‘86, to be precise, and was an early stepping stone for a surprising amount of big name actors, and Corey Haim. Charlie Sheen, Winona Ryder, Jeremy Piven, Courtney Thorne-Smith……..and Corey Haim.
